Geterbrewed single hop full grain kit

I've done two of these single hop series from geterbrewed, both equally as dark. Overshot the target OG on both. Both ended up around 6%. Both turned out very well. Would definitely try more.

    Dispensing your beer...

Ok, so I have everything to build a kegerator apart from the taps. Ideally looking for a 2 or 3 tap tower. Can anyone recommend a decent one? Should I go for flow control or no flow control? At the minute I'm having to take the keg out of the fridge to attach a tap directly onto the out post...

New Grainfather user, what should I brew first?

Thanks for all the replies folks! Yeah I was looking to do a SMaSH for my first couple of brews just to familiarise myself with the process. I started out doing kits almost a year ago to the day. Then I moved on to BIAB just before Xmas, always hoping in the back of my mind that I'd have an...

New Grainfather user, what should I brew first?

I took ownership of a Grainfather yesterday. I'm looking for ideas of what I could brew first. Looking for something fairly simple so I can get used to the processes etc. Also, where is the best place to purchase already made up ingredient packs? Thanks.

Have a go at simple AG

So, I've followed all the steps. Before bottling I put the whole demijohn into the fridge to clear it. Came to bottling and decided to put a small amount of sugar directly into the bottles, but I don't seem to be getting any carbonation. I have bottled into PET bottles and they just don't seem...

    2nd go at BIAB

Thanks for the replies. I've had a look at brewers friend but need to spend more time on it and get familiar with it. Just read somewhere that people like to make a SMaSH with Munich malt and centennial hops so might give that a whirl. I have absolutely no idea which hops bring which flavours...

    2nd go at BIAB

Last week I had a go at the simple BIAB recipe posted by clibit in his 'have a go at simple AG' thread. I used what equipment I had at the time and enjoyed it so much I immediately purchased more equipment so I can make bigger batches. Could anyone share a simple BIAB recipe or point me in...

Thinking of making the leap to AG

G'day fellow brewers! So as the title suggests I'm thinking of making the leap from brewing kits to all grain. So my question is...realistically how much money do I need to spend to get me into all grain brewing. I have so many questions, please bare with me haha. Can you make 40 pint...
