So this is pretty normal then. I think there must have been enough marbles as it sank to the bottom when I.put it in. I'm planning to leave it in 7 days till Monday hopefully by that time it will be fine

Last night i dry hopped 100g of hops into a muslin bag and weighed it down with marbles. Today o e day later the bag is floating at the top of beer. Is this normal

I think my fv is fine....I checked.my measuring jug with my pint measure and.all seems.fine...I do not think the amount of water.in the fv is the problem....if others on YouTube etc say they getting approx 4.5 % when adding 1kg brew sugar I'd think me doing the same with slightly less than 40...

I have dry hopped extract kits before with to me decent results.. I am more interested in the three hops I have at moment cascade, chinook, amaryllis and there compatibility with each other if combined....that is more what I am trying to find.out.

So basically someone who does it correctly stirs it well etc and someone who doesn't will in the end get the same result the same fg the same abv....yes?

As a matter.of interest say the wort in a brew hasn't been mixed properly will the beer still ferment out and finish at the same fG as it would have done if mixed properly or not?

Stirred it and took readings with my 2 hydrometers......one is 1036 & the other is 1038......massive difference so I do think probably stirring may have been the culprit but I am giving them a good one for 5 or 6 minutes isn't this enough? The muntons gold imperial stout is a fantastic tasting...
