    Kegland Duotight disconnects

I have a bunch of these and I do rate them for various aspects. However, getting the line all the way in can be hard and the tube end gets roughed up pretty quickly. Also, unscrewing the top is virtually impossible without pliers. One of my black ones sometimes leaks. I have it on my jumper...

Very Slow Pour From a Keg

Does the black disconnect have any problem going on? If so, that could be an O-ring issue. Used to happen to me a lot and I was forever swapping out O-rings after a few months. I think it might have been the disconnect that was damaging them but if an O-ring is spent, it can affect the...

Very Slow Pour From a Keg

Is that totally accurate? I seem to recall, a long time ago, hooking the grey disconnect to the liquid post in order to clear a blockage and it was a nightmare to remove. Had to use a massive spanner to pop it off. I think perhaps you are correct with the universal looking slim posts but maybe...

Very Slow Pour From a Keg

I always found the picnic tap to be very slow. Ditched it after the first week and got a FC tap.

You don't need any length of line if you are using a tap with flow control. Just attach it directly to the liquid post. If you don't have a tap with flow control, the beer can come out rather quickly.

Very Slow Pour From a Keg

Change the disconnect on your gas line to a black, liquid disconnect. Purge the line a little by pressing the dimple in the disconnect. Blast CO2 down the liquid dip tube. Set it high, like 30 psi. Then reverse the process and get your grey disconnect back on. This might clear any blockage in...

    Birra moretti clone

Sorry, bruh, no luck with the books. If you go to PDFdrive.com, you can download 200 commercial beers recipes. Might be something in there that you think is similar to Moretti 🤷‍♂️ Are there no recipes on the likes of brewers friend or beersmith? I mean, take them with a pinch of salt but...

    What are you drinking 2024.

Trying to help a fellow homebrewer out with a recipe, whilst enjoying a rather lovely hazelnut brown ale. Just back from the pub and this is so much nicer than the shyte that was on offer there. Never ceases to amaze me how that is even possible.

    Birra moretti clone

I'll have a traipse through my downloaded PDF brewing books. I have a feeling I may have come across one before in something like 'How to brew 200 commercial beers'. Failing that, I have a book by Charlie Papazian about his worldwide journeys. He goes to Italy so there is at least one recipe for...

    Mini Nitrogen Regulator

Not sure I understand what you mean. Did you not carb the beer with mixed gas (70/30 nitro/CO2)?

    Post punk

Their beers are now ****. Overpriced ****. For quite some time, it seemed like all their beers tasted the same (style wise) and were just in different packaging. I haven't bought any of their stuff for years.

That looks like the loneliest pint in the world.

    March 2024 - Freestyle competition

Haven't seen a prize up for grabs since I judged my first comp. Back then, it was a regular thing. Them were the days, eh lads! Wing me your address, please. I'm just supping on a rather nice brown ale.
