My friend can't provide any contacts, but he thinks it was something to do with the Hornet. There is also a group in Worthing based at Beer No Evil - virtual only at the moment, as most are.

True - I got an email notification though! I expect that most groups have paused meetings in the current climate, although a selection of the Brighton group did meet up on the beach this week. There's also another group set up in Worthing - meeting by zoom the days (not as tasty)

There obviously aren't many southerners on here - most glasses back then were measured to the brim, so any head was considered a short measure!

My prima Donna is in year 3 & it had this last year - thought it had died, but it grew again towards the end of the season - no hops though. This year it's struggling again. Not sure what it is, there were aphids & black fly & there's always and all over it (farming aphids). I've been watering...

@Pearlfisher these are useful with the party star deluxe style taps - you push the centre into the keg with the feed tube - they aren't designed to work with the built-in tap but as you say you could pull the centre out out & push it back in when not dispensing. There is a risk that carbonation...

@JonBrew I hope the event is on Sunday - that's when I'm planning to go...

I'm completely surprised that the minikegs would blow like that - would expect the bung to blow off first!

I was wondering about using the hot tap, but wasn't sure that all my water pipes / fittings were drinking water quality.

Hi All, My new Party star deluxe tap is dripping from the end of the spout, it's slow (one drop every few minutes) but annoying. I assume that this means that the tap is not closing off fully - has anyone else had this issue / any advice on how to address it? Apart from the drop it works...
