Use a bicycle or foot pump to pressurise when looking for leaks, not co2 its costly !

You can pressurize with an ordinary foot pump when looking for leaks , save your CO2 bulbs !

You need the piercer in the centre to pierce and the correct holder to screw on the valve and hold it tight against O-ring.. I did use the 10gm bulbs, but find it more practical and much cheaper to use the larger CO2 bulbs. You need a schrader valve on your cap, this cycle inflator adapter will...

My latest brew was using a nylon supermarket veg bag, it worked well and seemed to drain easily at the end. Must say I am tempted to go commando on my next brew :eek:. I can only cold crash in the garage, so dependant on ambient temperature.

I like it, my brewing lid will not allow rigid structures, brew#9 with the cling film. I really should move on ! :) Lol.

Can I add brew enhancer after ferment has started ( Mangrove Jack Juicy Session IPA kit)? I ordered enhancer, but has been delayed a day. I could use sugar but read about the detrimental effects this can have. If I do add it do I liquidise it first , or add as is. Thanks in advance.
