    Welsh water

Hi. I have been trying to find Welsh Water's water profile. Could you link me to this page if you have it handy? If not, I guess I can just use the measurements you have. Thanks in advance.

    Best NEIPA kit? Muntons hazy?

Polly's Brew Co are company that makes great hazy beers. They literally look like OJ and are the "classic" looking, juicy full bodied types. Unsure if mainstream supermarkets will stock them, but you may see a few cans down your local bottle shop. https://pollysbrew.co/

    Best NEIPA kit? Muntons hazy?

This is the kit I bought, and I'm currently drinking this too. Mine came out very high SG at around 1.069, but finished only at 1.023. Taste is great! Got a nice body and mouth feel!

    Smallest 4-keg keezer solution?

Hi all, didn't want to start a new thread, but I am wondering if anyone has come across the smallest chest freezer that can fit a minimum of 3x19L corny kegs? I believe I will not be able to get the new slimmer version corny kegs, so will use the 23cm diameter kegs. I would also be willing to...

    PINTER beer system

In a nutshell, yes to your question. Though there are some other limitations; - Unsure what the built in PRV pressure is. You may require different PSI depending on beer style. - Taking a gravity sample would essentially mean releasing all/most pressure in Pinter. - No way to increase pressure...

    Heating belts ?

As others have said, you need a way to regulate it, and in the current climate, it's mainly raising the temperature rather than the need to cool. You'll need an Inkbird or an equivalent. You can get cheaper single input temperature controllers where you will only either be able to heat or cool...

DIY Immersion Chiller Copper - 3/16 OD?

Hi all. Looking to make an immersion chiller on a (extreme) budget. I've been doing research and reading articles on immersion chillers. Most say that a longer length thinner coil will work better than a thicker shorter coil. E.g. 15m at 8mm will chill quicker than a 10m at 10mm. I've been...

Small batch all grain kits or low volume grain purchases?

Hi all, I have wanted to get into the all grain route, and I saw an offer on a 32L brew kettle. I wanted to start on a smaller scale for a few reasons; 1. I want to make the brew day easier (smaller should be slightly easier right? 2. Unsure if a 32L kettle would be able to brew the...

    recommendation for kegerator

If the fridges will be hidden, why not look 2nd hand? I managed to buy a working fridge for £10 on Facebook marketplace. Albeit a tiny bit of rust on the outside door, but nothing a bit of Rustoleum can't fix. Plus most under counter fridges will require slight modifications if using old style...

    Water boiler/Urn Concealed element

So doable then... 😜 I guess as long as I keep an eye on the boil, it seems doable.

    Water boiler/Urn Concealed element

Didn't want to start another thread. Hoping someone could help. I want to get into BIAB, and brew 23L batches. My questions is would a 30L water boiler be big enough when considering grain absorption and boil off?

    Temperature control

I'm a complete novice at wiring, and I've managed to get it wired. I also used an old takeaway plastic tub as the housing haha. I found this link helpful as a wiring guide HERE
