    I got mine from Andover patio centre - there was no charge for the cylinder, only the gas (which was about £35 IIRC but I've not got a refill in a while) The cylinder is from Air Liquide, so may be worth seeing if they have a dealer nearer Southampton - you could also try asking in the Butchers...

    I've not yet tried this, mainly because I've been purging the dispense keg by pushing sanitizer out - I've not yet figured out a way to add hops to the keg while also being sure it's completely purged of o2.

    +1 - I use 9.5l kegs and keep them outside at ambient temperature most of the year, in mid summer I negotiate some space in the food fridge, but for most of the year it's manageable (I would like a fridge though, and certainly it's a good idea if you have the space).

    I live in a hard water area and find that after a week or so left in a bucket you end up with a slimy residue in the bucket (and all over whatever is in there) For a spray bottle I use pre-boiled water which doesn't seem to have the same issue so I presume it's the solids from the hard water...

    Good points @Neil Whittaker - and to be fair I've never had a blockage during the mash recirculation, only after adding hops (I bought a whirlpool arm and it's useless unless you bag the hops)
