    Pimping A One Can Kit

I have a MJ’s New Zealand Series Cider Kit & a whole bunch of frozen rhubarb I am wondering about adding. No idea where to start, quantities, when, for how long, if the Apple & Rhubarb will compliment eachother & if I should even mess with the kit! Any ideas, help and feedback would be awesome...

    Mangrove Jack's Juicy session IPA

just about to bottle this up, ideally carbed with dextrose rather than bottle drops as I have all 500ml bottles..how much sugar would you recommend? This is only my 3rd brew and the other 2 have lacked slightly with carbing for my preference. thanks in advance 🍺

    MYO Sanitiser Rinse/No rinse?

Hi Guys, happy bank holiday/brew weekend! Quick question I am looking to bottle and 5l mini keg my Four Finger Jack APA today. The only sanitiser I have is the MYO that I managed to pick up at the range (along with a dozen swing top bottles - at last I found some in stock!). The sanitiser says...

Bulldog Four finger Jack American Pale ale.

I started this kit Friday to keep me sane in these coronapocalypse times! I just wondering at which point most of you added the hop teabags? The instructions say 4 days or so in..without them I would have assumed more like 11 or so days in? Only my second brew so any help at all is very much...

    Newbie Brewer from Salisbury

Totally agree..as a complete beginner and trying to learn without asking TOO many questions..this is exactly what I ended up trying/doing - it made sense that it would do the same job, but also allow me to add the hops directly. Worked awesomely (from what I can see).

I am just a sucker for a pale! Keen to try a decent stout though, if you have any recommendations? I should look at a sour too, to keep the wife on side!

    Newbie Brewer from Salisbury

A week in the PB for the Youngs AIPA, smelling and tasting (I HAD to) great. Now comes the being patient bit.. So...I'm going to start another brew up this coming week, another kit, try bottling & see how that goes. Ideally a pale or something more sessionable..any suggestions? I am currently...

    Youngs American IPA

Definitely no giving up, I’ve already got the Young’s Pale Ale lined up to go next..with a view to bottle! Although from your feedback it seems I ideally should have PB’d the Pale & bottled the AIPA!

    Youngs American IPA

Literally my first ever brew, so I followed the instructions to the letter..until the concern over the priming sugar. Thanks for the reassurance that it should be ok..the PRV in my mind should do the job, I guess I am just seeking some peace of mind from you seasoned pros here!

    Youngs American IPA

Thanks for this! I was/am stressing now.. I will give it a go tomorrow evening..if I don’t come home to lovely homebrew all over the floor!

    Youngs American IPA

The Beer Kit instructions literally just say “add the priming sugar”, I did assume I am supposed to use the full bag as you use all the malt extract, sugar, yeast, hops..but played it cautiously..on the earlier comments I have now added the rest of the bag (it did froth up a fair bit) &...

    Youngs American IPA

Thanks for the speedy reply. Is it wise/possible to add the remaining afterwards? I guess it’s the only option if I don’t want a failed IPA?
