Thank you but it's the G70 I'm interested in specifically because I can get a brand new boxed and still sealed one for £400 from a bankruptcy sale. Still slot of money though if it doesn't work as intended.

Anyone on here own a grainfather G70? Would you share your experience with it please. I'm considering one but read that it has a few problems from being underpowered to poor/fluctuating temperature control. Also that it take forever to get to and keep a rolling boil? It's ALOT of money to spend...

Hi, a couple of my kegs have developed shiny spots where they have rubbed against each other or something. Is there an easy way to get them back to a matte finish again please? I've tried scourers and abrasive cleaners but they are just making the shiny parts bigger and shinier. Thanks

If I don't get any favourable replies I think I'm more likely to just bin it. Don't want to risk wasting a 6hr brewday and all the ingredients.

The wort side is fine, I can't get 3/4" GHT fittings started on the water side so putting PTFE tape on will make it worse. I think I've found the problem though, I think this one is an American version and their GHT fittings are different. I'll maybe have to think outside the box a bit.

Anyone on here use a Blichmann therminator? What size thread are the water connections please? The wort are 1/2" NPT and I've used 1/2 BSP which fit ok but the water side are supposed to be garden hose size connections, the ones on my therminator definitely are not, I've tried metal garden...
