yeah, i would normally use up to 100g dry on a 33ltr brew of this type with a low AA, but all the advice i could find for 'green' hops was 5 x what you would use dry - so went for it - we shall see :-)

Hi, been a member for a good while but out of touch, moved to france early this year and been hectic getting a gite up and running so no brew days, but, one is planned for next week. I do BIAB in a 40lt pot. I use Beersmith2 to create my recipes - will post next weeks up shortly for feedback

Just been to the range for some things - came back with a box of 12 500ml swing top brown bottles for £9.99 - hmm, may be worth a look if you want to try swing top instead of crown cap

to be honest not sure if its rpm or more likely power % but its at least an indicator that i can use to set the same 'speed' to each time :-)

wont be seriously expensive but replaceable probe models is a major option if the price is right :)
