I have a DuoFiller Gen2 automatic can filler for sale, I bought it last year and have never used, I'm trying to clear some space and got some of my money back on it. They are £448 at the Malt Miller at the moment. I'm willing to entertain any sensible offer, Free to collect or I can post but...
Calling all yeast experts! I am making a yeast starter from a one month out of date sachet of WLP004 Irish ale yeast. I want to use it in a 120 litre brew but don't really know what I'm doing! I bought a stir plate, flask and cans of starter wort, I think I worked out that I would need to make a...
TBH Samale there isn't a lot to find/see, not yet! I've done one farmers market so far but I've got more coming up. I'm working on the website and social stuff this week. My wife's on my case to get it sorted! It's all very small batch stuff 150 litres at a time, bottles and cans, trying to...
It was lovely to meet you Broken Toe, and chat all things beer! This forum really is an incredible place, full of amazing people. I've learned so much here, thanks HBFers!

I wish I'd read this thread before I ordered from KegKingdom. I ordered a few JG fittings, disconnects and beer line on 28th of May and haven't heard anything. I wouldn't mind but I had mistake with my beer line order and needed to add more, I sent an email saying it was ok to debit the...
I did this kit a few times a couple of years ago and like @Kenboy I never got below 1.009. If the gravity reading stays the same for three days then it's ready to bottle.
I normally transfer my bag, once the mash time has finished, to a bucket and then pour 75º water over the bag to extract as much sugar as I can from the grain and make the water back up to boil volume after absorption. I wring and squeeze the bag and pour the water from the bucket back in to the...
