    Cost of your homebrew pint

    costs me £10 for the brew and £1 for bag of sugar,makes 40 pints so 25p per pint near enough.someone once told me that it costs a brewery 6p to make a pint and the rest goes to tax man,how far true this is ive no idea.

    afternoon fella's.can anyone remember trophy bitter made by whitbread,i used to love this drink and wondering if i could make a brew exactly the same ??.it was a ruby coloured bitter with a disticnt sweet taste.any ideas how i could make this beer or near enough the same.cheers lads

    good evening boyz n girls.so im a novice and need a bit of advice,i like making bitters and largers.i use 5 gallon drum to make the beer add bag of sugar leave for 8-10 days you know what i mean,so it tastes nice but its lacking body.looking at the way i brew how can i add body ???.any advise...
