    Wanted: 20 Litre Sankey kegs

No way, that is an awesome setup!! I'm not jealous at all hahaha The Cornies are good, you can reach inside and clean. I've also seen adapters for your drill that swish water around and scrub. I'm in a super soft water area, maybe that's why it's so easy for me. Do you run a micro pub? @Druncan

    Wanted: 20 Litre Sankey kegs

I checked out EcoKegs, great review of all types here http://jollygoodbeer.co.uk/2015/07/16/what-keg/ @Druncan. Positive outlook from a distributor, but take up more space than a stainless keg. 30litre EcoKeg = 50litre stainless. I think I'll stick to stainless steel as they will quite...

    Wanted: 20 Litre Sankey kegs

Good question. I'll do a YouTube video when I get a few minutes spare. You won't believe how easy it is: Depressurise by unscrewing spear slightly, pressing the spear down speeds it up Unscrew spear and set aside Quick rinse of old muck out Add a teaspoon of cleanser, replace spear, agitate by...

    Wanted: 20 Litre Sankey kegs

I'm after some 20 Litre Sankey (UK, S) kegs. I've used corneys before, but I prefer kegs as I've never had any CO2 leaks with them and they are hard core thick steel that will last forever! I have 4 X 50 litre Sankeys, but a move to a smaller batch size means I'm happy to do a trade for up to a...

What would the ultimate brew machine/set up be?

I found this post as I'm after a members review of the Brewie rather than a "sales rep" from the firm. Can't seem to find the review you mentioned though. Do you have a link @TheQuokka?

    Stupidest Mistake You've Ever Made

Hahaha that would have been mistake number three if I didn't!

    Stupidest Mistake You've Ever Made

Wow, I don't feel so bad about my mistakes. A recent couple of mine, which were annoying on a double batch: Cheap temp probe from eBay meaning inconsistent mash on every brew = poor tasting beer. Using tights as hop socks... They are just too tight for the amount of hops in a double batch, so...

Anyone used Clarity Ferm to make gluten free beer?

They reckoned it improved the taste!

@yorkshirebb very helpful, thank you! And cheers everyone else!

Anyone used Clarity Ferm to make gluten free beer?

Thanks for the info. Selfishly I'm concerned about the taste.... But, not so selfishly, I also want to be able to share my beer, so knowing it does the job without altering the taste is good. Thanks @Cwrw666. I wonder how much it costs to test? It'd have to be a big batch to make it worthwhile.

    New automated brewer

Cheers guys, I bought the BrewDog book and have just spotted some great clones on here, thanks! As a group buy we ordered a Brewie+. Their first version had some faults but mostly positive feedback, so we shared the risk for version 2. Just setting up the back of the garage for it now... (That...
