Red Fox, Colchester and Bishops Nick are my local breweries. I have visited red Fox a couple of times and Colchester brewery we had a great Anglia Craft Brewers meet there were we all got completely smashed

The nearest brewery to me is Rowton Brewery, about a five minute walk. They rent the pub attached as their taphouse, but have just bought the pub at the end our road which is a one minute walk! This will complement the taphouse not replace it.

A bit further afield is Battlefield in Shrewsbury, Joules in Market Drayton both excellent.

I do miss living in the black country when it comes to breweries: Holdens, Bathams, Ma Pardoes...

Had a couple of beers at Rivington brewery last January/Feb I think it was,and a not so bad pizza.Freezing though as no heating.
Had a mini tap bar crawl that day 🍺😁
Haha yes the pizza is great. They have built a large outdoor shed type seating area now. Keeps you dry 😅. A few of those 9 percent beers and you're on your way lol

I had a 9% first beer at noon, finished at the Black Bull Tockholes 8 hours later, with I don't know how many Tap Rooms in- between.🥴

Brew York, less than 1 mile probably, well their now original/small pilot site and beer hall and tap room.

York Brewery in days of old. Used to have homebrew club there...

Thwaites, although just moved a bit out of town to Mellor.
My father in law used to work for Thwaites,
started out as a drey man and ended up managing the refits of many of their best pubs.
Used to love a pint of Thwaites best bitter when we visited.
Might be something to do with the amazing water in the town( compared to the hard limescaley stuff here down south ).

Yes Tanglefoot, water in Blackburn nearly comparable to Scottish water.

I knew I'd miss one - Salopian is not far from me

And three tuns in bishops castle, a fan of three tuns XXX

Tiny Rebel about 5 minutes away and AB Inbev in Magor about 20 minutes away. Worked at Inbev as a contractor a few years ago but I've heard it's expanded again since. Huge operation.

I can’t get the map in the OP to work.

I have Mor Brewing which is about 200 yards from my parents’ old house but maybe 2-3 miles from where I live and similar to where they live now.

71 Brewing are about 5 miles from me, and about half a mile from my work (if I ever get back into the office) which is handy because they have a good bottle shop.

Redcastle Brewing, who are more known for their gin than their beer these days, are about 10 miles away in the opposite direction from 71.

Im quite spoilt...

Tring brewery- pre lockdown you could pop in for a chat and they do takeaway from bottles to kegs and have sampling taps to help yourself and try before you buy, good beers
Vale Brewery- tried some of their brews on taps in pubs, not really to my taste
Chiltern Brewery- sampled what I believe was all of their brews available (at the time) on tap during an afternoon session, middling
Leighton Buzzard Brewing company- not had the pleasure
Aylesbury Brewhouse- again not tried their beers
XT Brewing Co- sampled a couple of their brews and enjoyed them
Haresfoot Brewery- not sampled
Rebellion- few gooduns I have tried as both takeaway kegged and on tap
Malt the Brewery- not tried

It seems like there also are a good few more within 30mins of me that I wasnt even aware of which tells me I have some exploring of ranges to do whilst I wait for mine to condition!

Hogs Back....nice place with nice people, Triple F in the opposite direction also lovely people and beer.

Going by the Scottish standard of distance measured in minutes by car, Tryst - 2 minutes
Hybrid - 12 minutes
William Bros - 13 minutes
Harviestoun - As above
Edinburgh and Glasgow not too far away but only really mentioning ones that I'd consider to be local to me.

Google maps also reveals Slopemeister who are 5 mins away but I have never heard of them. Will maybe check out their product

You're not that far from me.

There is a small brewery in Bicester called The Wriggly Monkey. Their beers are a bit too hoppy for my liking, but me, the Mrs and the folks next door pop up when we can. And if you like cars they are based on the Bicester Heritage site. The chief there is a proper petrol head.

The Angel in Bicester also has a brewery tacked on to the back, but I'm not really sure how much they brew and when. We like the Angel for a pint though.
