This is the basic info I work to... obviously you need to start with your water profile not mine..
Then look on the forum for Strange Steve's water calculator (someone please post a link coz I don't know how to!)then just punch in your numbers,any roast grains and it'll give you what you need to add. It's really easy!

Thought i'd tackle beersmith3 n the water profile.
How wrong was i.............half way through 🧠 went hay wire..
heres my progress ( @foxbat havent forgot your good work ref the help, and @Clint help we the water profile etc.)

Calcium: Yes you entered that from your own measurements: 40

Alkalinity: Again, from your own measurements: 80.55

Magnesium: It's not on your water report (you picked Manganese which is different). It's not particularly important anyway so just leave it at zero in your Beersmith box.

The other values should come from the "Mean" (average) column. Here's my take on your Beersmith Profile:

2. Sodium 21 (mean from the report)
3. Sulfate (report)
4. cloride 17 (report)
5. could find the Alk....but found my test result in bicarb 80.55
is this right???

so i need (apart from a new brain)
with the help of the reading youve just helped me....1-5
Think my pH meter coming today...
so maybe i can practice we noth beersmith and Bru'n water.
Found Gash's titorial for Brewfather......😁😁😂😂 but my meds kicked in..

Here's a copy of the spreadsheet with your brew in it.

What I did:

1. Entered your water profile on Sheet (1). You don't need to come back to this sheet again now it's done.

2. Entered your grain bill on sheet (3). I changed the colour units from Lovibond in your screenshot to EBC. I also corrected where you'd entered 0.5, 0.4, 0.3 etc. in the Quantity (g) column to what I think you meant: 500g, 400g, 300g etc.

3. On the Water Adjustment (4) sheet I fiddled around with the lactic acid amount in cell B29 until the Estimated Mash pH dropped to 5.39 which is a good figure for a brown beer. I'm making the assumption here that you have a bottle of 80% lactic acid in your cupboard! I did not add minerals on that sheet because your water is really quite good already.

What you need to do:

Enter your mash and sparge water volumes in cells J17 and L17 on sheet 4 (Water Adjustment).

Now you can click on sheet 5 (Adjustment Summary) and read the amount of lactic acid to add to your mash in cell E26 (it reads 3.8 ml at the moment).

Think so far Brewfather is getting there..
For all i still need the pH meter....tbh my water if i remember is was boot 7.8.

Sorted the equipment profile-mash-fermentation etc. for G30 GF (24l batch)
quickly added grains.

Mind using beersmith there some odd things with working out the salts that confused the hell oot me..
Where as brewfather looks Brian (user friendly )
Now armed with all that n my tests CRS calculations after the Alk n Ca tests now I need is my pH meter to arrive...
My kit is ready to get pick up for @BeardedMag for his brewday.

Now i had one o best nites kip, (flat packed meds) to stop my mine racing & waking up crazy times then my mind goes into pH, PPM, Ca, Alk blah blah blah!!
