Not Brewing but !
I remember a freind when I was younger changed the oil in his car 🤔
After starting to fill the engine he remembered he hadn’t replaced the drain Plug 😳 and there were a couple of litres of oil on n his driveway.

I certainly did not:

1) forget to the put the back of the seal on my current brew, before adding meaning I had to put my hand in very warm beer to screw it on.
2) pitch the yeast at 36 degrees, then leave it to go to room temp slowly, on my first brew. Also dropped the sachet of malt extract in there.
3) on my second brew, dropped my (expensive by my standards) watch in there.

I've made three brews. I think I may be Mr. Bean.

Even my Casio watch is waterproof !

Even my Casio watch is waterproof !

I did once buy a watch from a looky-looky man in Vigo when we were on a cruise, a "Breitling diving watch". The thing to turn the time forward fell out, just as we pulled off the dock, a whole hour after I bought it.

I certainly didn't leave the disconnect on the keg removing the beer line from the connector instead, hosing myself and the living room wall with pale ale as I scrabbled to grab the disconnect.

Not recently but I'd cleaned out and sanitized my fv, ready for a nice batch of gh patersbeir, left it for2 seconds outside while I found the lid, came back to fund my 2 year old happily shovelling mud into my squeaky clean fv! 🤣
