Not really enjoying this if I am honest

I’ve found the Cloudwater collaborations to be very hit and miss. Just like Joni Mitchell albums, but with a lot more misses. Every once in a while you get a ‘Blue’ or a ‘Hejira’ and you’re happy to wipe the slate clean!

This one is definitely a miss for me. I had a few vocation beers before hand. Not sure why but it doesn't really taste that nice. Could be the hop combo

I bought the Cloudwater ipa 4 pack from Tesco (the £10 one). 3 of the beers were pretty good collaborations BUT (and it's an enormous but, I cannot lie) the low alcohol one is perhaps the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. Ever. It is truly vile. Even worse than that Kaliber rubbish that Lawrie McMenemy used to advertise. I might have bought the pack again if it didn't have that abomination in it.

It looks like I'm kicking off today's glorious proceedings.

I had a pressing need to test this beer, and couldn't wait until much after midday.
Not sure that this Landlord tribute is still sharp with some hop bite from the whirlpool addition or something else. It tasted a little acidic at the last two samples but tastes more mellow in the sun today.

Cheers!

Just bottled my ESB and had a sample - it's quite astringent, I hope this ages out because everything else is great about it. I did inexplicably get 95% brewhouse efficiency on this brew so I've probably extracted some tannins from the grains during sparging 😢

Now I'm having a taster of my unlagered Helles before I put the rest down for cold storage. I might keep a few for early drinking too because this is great already, all it needs is some time to clear up.
