I took a gravity reading of my latest hazy pale. It's not smelling or tasting great. I think the high temps have taken effect. It's brewed using Bry 97, I have never used this yeast before. It's hopped with hallertau Blanc and mosiac.
I don't know if I should keg or not. I suppose I have nothing to lose if I do keg it.

BRY-97 is really clean, fantastic yeast in my experience. Hoping your beer improves with some ageing 🤞

I'm using Bry97 for the first time in a recipe that called for it. As far as I can see, it's just US-05. Time will tell.

I've used BRY97 for my last two hoppy pales. Really happy with the results. Clean with popping hops. Flavour wise I am not sure I could tell the difference versus US05 but I definitely have a shorter lag time with BRY97; less than 12 hours rather than closer to 24.

I just kegged a hazy that was done with Voss at 30c. Smelled strongly of sulphur but cleared up nicely in a few days. Go for it

You’ll recognise this of course, English Bitter. Cheers and Happy Weekend! 🥳

I know, getting a bit boring now and more alarming for me, the keg is feeling quite light.

I’m going to use my iron will (yeah, right!) to make myself choose something else next time, probably stout. That keg’s light too but at least I have another keg ready to put on tap.
