What is the minimum dia tubes that will cope with an over excited fermentation?

And any thoughts on using PLA 3d printed parts in the FV - is it likely to contaminate anything ? and how would I test first ?

Plenty headspace helps. I'm still using 13mm silicon into an old 2l plastic milk bottle half fitted with SS in my 75L conicals. Krausen doesn't even kiss the lid athumb..

I use a bit of 3/8" beer line straight into the gasket which is there for the airlock. It's not the most flexible thing in the world, so you might need a bit longer piece
