Managed a couple of brews over weekend.
A Mosaic APA with later additions of Cascade and an English IPA bittered with Admiral, then Challenger
and Target later in the boil.
Extra pale MO for the APA and MO for the IPA, both with Cara and extra dark Crystal.
Used safale US-05 for APA and Lalbrew Nottingham ( for first time ) for IPA.
APA bang on expected gravity at 1.054, volume a litre up at 20L.
IPA three points up on gravity at 1.058, volume at expected 18L.

Thought I'd give the Admiral a go after enjoying a few bottles of the Flagship IPA I picked up from
Hook Norton brewery.

Yes got tired of the American beers, the only one I brew is the Anchor Steam Ale clone like making an English bitter just a different yeast gives it a twist.
Nice beer. Been thinking a similar thing recently with English Pale, American Amber, Belgian pale being very similar grain bills just with a change of yeast and hops. I read somewhere I'm sure that at Cali Common wasn't to far from American Amber's just with different yeast and hops like you say.

Probably not the ideal time of year for a Saison but was a little bit out of ideas. Usually do AG but this was just 500g of extra light DME and 25g of oats steeped for a bit of body but hopefully not too much, in 1 gallon.
Styrian Goldings and some extras..

Just mashing my mosaic pale ale, think it's my favourite beer I have brewed this year. Its a simple brew which I'm really looking forward to drinking over Xmas break.

23l
4.5kg pale male
1k munich
100g mosaic
Mash 65 for 60, mash out 75 for 10
Boil 30mins

5g mosaic @ 20 & 15
10g @ 10
15g @ 5
65g hopstand

Notty yeast

Ibu 31

Oatmeal Stout
77% MO
7% Oat malt
7% Heritage Crystal
5% Chocolate Wheat
4% Roasted Barley

Bramling Cross to 35 IBU with a healthy flame out addition for aroma

Using MJ Empire yeast and hoping to get some decent body on there whilst not leaving too sweet...

Target OG was 1052 and hit 1057. Need to recalibrate my recipes as consistently overshooting with BHE. No bad thing but a target 4.9% may now be an actual 5.5%

Just kegging the TETB Best-ish Bitter after 3 weeks in the FV at 11ºc with German Bock (OLY-111)
My first from-scratch recipe, constructed using BrewSmith3.
Colour, bitterness, OG, final volume all bang on the money. Hats off to BS3 :hat:

Lovely mild non-intrusive bitterness from the WGV; and combines very nicely with the OYL-111. I'd really recommend the combo.
