I've just kegged my 3rd 'fast lager' - all have brewed for about 7 days under pressure in a corny, day or two cold crash then into the final keg for burst carb and drinking. Made some great beers this way and very very happy with the the the results. Spare corny lid with a built in floating dip tube makes this very easy if you go the corn route.

With the mention of rapid time, I expected kveik to be the suggestion for yeast.
I did ny first and only "lager" in November and it was ready to pour a week after brewday. It's now super clear but I am upset that the keg is nearly empty!
Enjoyed reading the article. No point over-complicating.

I really need to try a kveik - just been using a standard (cold temp) lager yeast so far, but brewed at 20c (ish)
The lager I mentioned above was my first experience with kveik. I used the dried Lutra and was pretty impressed. I think I did mine at 30c from memory. I left it in the FV for 5 days but it was done after three.
