Hi All , I am thinking of my first all grain brew , I am going to do a biab , can anyone advise me what size kettle i will need for a 15lt batch

I use a 15L kettle from Wilko for about 8-9 litres bottled if that’s any help to your calculations.

I have a 23l kettle I got from amazon for £60 and that does 16/17l batches comfortably.
But that does include a couple of liters sparging over the grain bag to rinse thr grains and bring the preboil volume back up to 20l.
I would agree with Nicks 100%. I do 10L batches in a 15L kettle and thats a struggle, especially for making anything over 5%. Its all possible but may require much sparring and adding to the boil half way through. I did make a 9% brew!!! but I dont think I would do it again. Hope that helps, if not, keep asking questions.
