Waiting for the IC to bring down the temp of the robobrew. So supping a 90/- partial mash kit ext the Brew Store, Edinburgh before they closed down 😔. Loverly conker colour. Bottled 5/4. The yellow worms - hosepipe!
Sad about the Brew Store,
Lovely looking beer,
but 'The yellow worms - hosepipe' reference whistles straight past.
I find it intriguing, please explain. 🤔

Once started, can't stop.
Meanwhile 'The Pilsner that revived' in the cask continues to give.
Richer than the Dortmunder, but that is 4.6% and this is 5.6%. And they were made intentionally like that.
Whoo-hoo! I must have learnt something here.

In a moment of rank insanity, thought I'd try and see if my never-used webcam could be used to take photos. Well, it sort of works. This is what's left of my last pint of Breakfast Beer wot I discovered hiding in a box of something else.
Breakfast beer is strong, knock-you-off-the-perch beer. It's for when you've stayed up all night boozing with your mates and, with the first glimmers of dawn, you fancy a bite and a last nail in the coffin before hitting the sack until at least lunch time.
Cheers all. Wish I had a second one, I'd quite forgotten about this little monkey!

Cracked open a Pythagoras Eardrum Schwarzbier (4.8%) kindly sent by @jceg316. This is my first Schwarzbier I have knowingly had, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It poured nicely with a head that has slowly receeded. It has a neutral smell, no hints of anything. It has a good dark colour and a clean refreshing taste. I googled this style and to me it fits very well with the description. Quite mild to low flavour and aroma. It's a very easy beer to drink, thanks for sharing 👍.

Bittered with Magnum, cascade @10 min, 15 min whirlpool with centennial and a massive dry hop with centennial for three days.
Has a 'dank' aroma similar to a plant that grows in Morocco or Nepal.

RO water with 9gms of Gyp & 9mls of lactic (ph 5.44)

Star Trek: Picard in the background.
