They again said on 5live yesterday that the only way this is going to end quickly is if the Ukrains agree to give up part of the country Putin can then tell his people he won the war and the Russian people being oblivious to what has really gone on will believe they achieved their original goal.

Unconfirmed yet But Russias misslie frigate Admiral Marakov is rumoured to be struck and sank

All rumours at the minute but more and more noise about this is coming.

Will be a big blow to Russia if true. Just Hours after Forbes wrote what a huge target it would be.

However could just be false info.

I have often wondered if NATO countries "special forces" have been sent to create as much chaos as they can do the Ukrainians have the weapons to take out ships?

I think that Ukraine has the delivery systems, but they have to know where the target is!

Latest from BBC News App. Apparently, the USA helped with where the ship was and the Ukrainians fired the missiles!
:hat:

McDonalds announced plans to leave Russia after 30 years.

Not sure that is a good thing, Russias troops might be healthier and in better condition next time they have a loon try to do something like this,

Speaking of health, a lot of rumour circling that Mr P is in poor health and possibly has blood cancer and is on Steroids. All speculation though.

Don't know if that is why he has the 30ft table because his immunity is down or that he is frightened of getting covid and being hospitalised when a sensible person has to take power whilst he is immobilised?

It's quite clear that there are health issues there. He certainly appears to have the bloat associated with steroid usage. Here's hoping. Russia doesn't deserve this either.

If he does go, the hope is whoever comes in to replace him will have a bit more sanity. I fear his inner circle are just as radical.

Thing is , they are taking a beating and humiliation on this war effort so far so whoever is at the helm will be looking to find an off ramp to save face.

All we can hope for is that his inner circle aren’t as radical, but just scared of challenging him. That has been the case with dictators the past. Stalin being the obvious example, but with Stalin you’d didn’t have to challenge him to come unstuck. It would have been sufficient if he didn’t like your name.

Unfortunately Putin has systematically got rid of anyone with the potential chops to pose a threat, the radio today stating he has taken personal charge of some of the strategic decision making may explain some of the basic errors the Ruscist forces are making, the last Tsar did this and got the blame for WW1 defeat let’s hope he faces same fate. Whoever takes over if he does go, the West will have to properly engage with this time to avoid missed opportunities of the 90s and repeat same mistakes, from a position of strength and not just window dressing of progress.

I heard that on 5 live the experts said they hope it is true as he has little experience and will make things worse for the Russian troops.
