… I actually bought it! Lol …
Hi Brian!

Been following this thread and homed in to those "Party Taps and Line". Didn't buy one, but realised all the bits were lying about house and I could cobble a couple together. Much easier to use in my "kegerator" … which is actually an unmodified freezer and cardboard box somewhere full of taps, lines and other bits. I'll build it one day (when I get some of these other "projects" done).

… Progress is slow due to Car needed jobs in it and MOT this safta. …
They let you keep your car! First thing that went for me, or at least the little document that let me drive it. Not that I care, the idea of getting behind a steering wheel again would terrify me.
… Brian Aged 5.5 year old. …
Don't put yourself down! You wouldn't catch me doing that …

Ah, you rotters. You've left me to sort out 1st year mathematical problems when you know I'm only 3! …
… Ah, yeah, that (from different forum). Actually that came from my attempt to mug a 3-year old girlie for her sweets and she beat seven bells out of me (and then fetched her Dad). 🤥

That drawing you did (following the "Brian Aged... " remark) weren't half bad. I had a problem keeping my pen on the paper until I discovered my head had readjusted to write/draw left-handed.

Some people (not you, I mean the muggles) haven't got a clue what I'm babbling on about now. But brains are vast things, and manifest "issues" in many more ways than a body can.

Good morning
I bee smiling reading my old replies.
unfortunately the Covid hit n nearly got the Grim Reaper for a visit (if you’ve followed in my old threads that bugger has visited often since hospital n struck doon.
Immune system next to nowt! :-(
Anyhooo!
Nuff of that, eventually I’m bouncing back.
I thought with the Co2 tank/Reg out of action, it’ll be no prob. Just like the olds day.
Specially bottling.
Defo for me at least, Co2 setup for all pressure ferment, close tranferred, serving via keg.
Makes my life so much easier.
so trying to get the words out what I mean, so bear 🐻 with me.
my old reg. some will remember, and had a fall and the gauge got knacked (the one tells you how much co2 in tank)
It worked fine using the serving gauge & at least a full tank.
but in time, I stupid when through the online buying a new reg. (guys I must be the worst shopper in the world ) ended up argument with a eBay seller to return a reg and get my money back.
Photos and quick vid clip to show it’s the reg fault, not user error etc.
That sealed my co2 faffing on for months.
Til now.
as you could see my old connection from reg was a JG fitting then a splinter.
But out of my good eye the other day lol looking at bits n bobs (old buying fails) there was a Barb fitting..hmmm
Could it fit the Old Reg.? Could I carry on?
I’ll sort out photos n when I’m on the craptop show yous.
I was fixated on one thing!!! John Guest fittings all over the place, when a lonely barb fitting was starring at me!!
now I know the barb fitting and the rest of the lines etc works perfect. I’ll get a new reg. (this time one o them rubber gauge protectors lol)
Pics incoming soon
Hope you all well, keep safe.

Hmm it works! 🧠🤦‍♂️
old reg.

Box o failed eBay buys)

Fabricobbled this from a fail reg.

But what I found the grey line is has no ‘play’ as compared to other lines, it tends to get twisted etc!
hope that makes sence!!
so unless I fabicobble a set up that stationary with no buckling are twisting I’ll always going to get damaged…
So thinking..hold on to your hats!!
Bri thinking.
Get rid of the grey stiff pipe, it’ll help more.
and taking it from there.
Sometime the tank is in the fridge (kegging & serving.
Outside for transfers etc.
hmmm defo part o prob is the gas grey like causing the probs.

Is that gray stiff pipe John Guest (push-fit stuff) ? It looks like it might be 3/8" outer diameter.
If if is, then you could just cut it and then reconnect it using a straight coupler. The straight coupler will act like a swivel and stop the grey pipe causing problems when it twists

Think at this moment, it might be worth opening and new thread?
Brian's Keg-orator build 2022.

so when I back I’ll start a new thread.
Always going pics etc to help you destpher what the heck I’m going on about!
mainly NEED YOU HELP! As you know my ‘condition’ isn’t 👍
Known me for a long time so no probs, drive in and even take the Micky out of me! Haha!! Most of the time I can’t see the OBVOUS.
All good skills. poking fwd to this n getting your views on the way ahead!
