Stewart has always impressed me with his common sense and his know nonsense approach to problems. He could be the Tories future, after the last three efforts they need a boost.

I think that boat has sailed. They pushed out the "good" ones.

Its the same with every government since the beginning of time. The idea of being in power is to do anything possible to stay there, by all means available, regardless of what those means are. You only have to look at the weak lilly livered MPs dancing to any tune in order to remain elected, and steadfastly refusing to ACTUALLY speak their mind. If I were you I wouldn't get worked up over it - your wasting energy
Speaking your mind can get you in a whole lot of trouble these days, end of

I never cease to be horrified by how immoral some MPs are

An article in the Guardian talks about Bob Seely the MP for the Isle of Wight

"Bob Seely was refreshingly frank and pragmatic. He didn’t much care for Boris. Never had, never would. But No 10 had made him a cash offer for his Isle of Wight constituency that he hadn’t been able to refuse. So he had voted for Johnson. And would continue to do so just as long as the dosh kept coming. The relationship was entirely transactional and Seely couldn’t have been happier."

So BJ bought his vote

The Guardian continues

"Pride of place for the idiot’s idiot in the Tory wankocracy went to Brendan Clarke-Smith. He argued that he was sick to death of people weaponising their Covid tragedies to have a pop at Johnson. The pandemic was now over and everyone should just shut up about their losses – hadn’t the whole point of Brexit been to forge a new generation of British stiff upper lips? – and get on with it. So your mum died? Big ******* deal. Everyone’s gotta croak some time. So why not just be happy for Boris instead of going on about law-breaking?"

Speechless

Far cheaper than the £1Bn bung that Theresa May gave the DUP for their votes in the previous general election.

He won the no confidence vote but it is claimed that the winning margin was less than expected. Why did those who wanted to oust him bring the no confidence vote in the first place if that's the best they could hope for?
Cos they had no confidence in him probably

yeah nobody can replace Boris? how about Pope Alexander VI, Rodrigo Borgia?

"There is no longer any crime or shameful act that does not take place in public in Rome and in the home of the Pontiff. Who could fail to be horrified by the…terrible, monstrous acts of lechery that are committed openly in his home, with no respect for God or man?"

The Pope defended himself by saying it was not a party it was work, look I have my red handbag.

If any one wants a reminder of Boris's record of trustworthiness and statesmanship.

Its embarrassing how anyone can defend him.

Sad, I have just came back from Iona where I saw John Smith's grave

Inscription” JOHN SMITH, Sept.1938 - MAY 1994, An Honest Man’s The Noblest Work of God.”
The best Prime Minister Britain never had.

I wonder what will be inscribed on Boris's.

How we have fallen as a country.

Ian Blackford on top form, quipping that Boris Johnson was like the Black Knight in Monty Python's holy grail -
"It's just a flesh wound" ! 😄

Absolutely describes this failure of a human to tea
