Imperial Stout carbonation

Does anyone know what level of carbonation I should aim for with a 7.4% imperial stout? Can't find concensus online and brewfather says 2.2-2.8 volumes. Does that sound right?
I'll be bottling, if it makes a difference. FG has been 1024 for a couple of weeks now.

2.8 sounds a bit high for a hefty stout, I'd maybe stick around 2.0. Also depends what level of carb you like, it's your beer at the end of the day.

Ok, thanks. For some reason I had it in my mind that stouts should be low carbonation (like 1.5ish) but not sure where I got that idea.
I'll aim for 2 and see what happens athumb..
