So we’ve opened a bottle of the husband’s 5am Saint, which he tried to replicate from DIY dog. I’ve taken this picture of it next to an actual photo of it, which he had on the rooftop terrace in Manchester Brewdog where we went in March.

It was quite an expensive project as there’s 6 different hops in it. I have to say he’s nailed the colour, and the taste is amazing too. Well done Jim! 🤩

What's the recipe Tess

This only arrived today, it's @dave_77 WC IPA with strata, Amarillo and Ahtanum

Really nice bright looking beer, as always your beer has a nice aroma. Dank pine and light fruit. Flavour backs it up, really good. This is a modern west coast IPA for me and it hits the spot. Bitter, dank, pine backed up with a fruit finish.

A pleasure to try and alot better than my attempt 👏

Glad you enjoyed it . I wasn't too happy with it at first but it's over a month in the keg now and it's starting to smooth for the better. I had a bit of a mare with the brewing of this one. When weighing out the grains missed out 500g of base malt..noticed I was way down mid brew so added table sugar. This meant the gravity was even lower than my normal brews🤷🏽due to the increased fermentability.
