Drinking a Cascade/Azacca IPA where I got the brews mixed up and dry hopped with the completely wrong hops, the result has been eh mixed, but I've got 20 bottles of this and I'm going to drink every one!

10 day old best bitter, I am liking this fermenting and serving from the same keg. I think I have it carbed perfectly to the cask level. It still has a bit of sulphur and haze but overall M15 makes a very good ale.

Having a try of my golden ale to see how it’s coming along.

It has unfortunately lost that strong grapefruit aroma/flavour it had when it came out of the fermenter. On the other hand it has settled into a nice clean fresh golden ale very much like those I’ve enjoyed at the pub. I’m happy with that.

So, it appears I have invented Proper Job! 😂

Side-by side comparison…

PJ is the merest hint more golden than mine but this might be because it’s a smidge more clear. Mine has better head retention. The aroma is almost identical, mine might be marginally stronger. PJ has a little more bitterness but otherwise the flavour is the same.

If anyone wants a PJ clone my Golden Ale will get you 98% of the way there!

Another day on the Costa Jolibobs. 35°c, thermometer on our balcony was reading 42° at one point but it's a sun trap. Pool is lovely and warm. Out and about, it looks like Heineken have a stranglehold on the bars and restaurants, but you can find some Estrella Damn. The mini / supermarkets have a bit better choice; but nothing really crafty

Alhambra is about 50p a can though, and is perfect sun beer, so I'm on that while the girls get ready to go out. The local mini supermarket had some, what looked like Spanish Bock yesterday, but were sold out today. Keen to try that.
