Amstel original 100% malta. 5%, 48 cents a tin. Is it nice? Well, I'm on my Jolibobs so, like local wine, one needs to be careful that the sun and fun isn't clouding ones judgement, but this is the best photo I've got (this is my fourth) because I keep chucking them down my neck :laugh8:

Sneak preview of the rebranded Achilles Helles (first royalties now due to @Hazelwood Brewery).
Clarity is much better than the photo suggests, it’s been lagared for almost 2 months. CML Hell doesn’t deliver like Wyeast Munich lager to my palate but Mrs70 declared it very flavourful, clearly the decoction mash wasn’t in vain.

Another push at clearing the OOD beers from BEER52.
This one BBE 31.03.2022, So getting slowly closer to 'in date' beers.
This one of these is the freshest tasting I've had (one more to go).
The Eagle eyed may spot other garage contents being sorted and cleared out too.
Another of SWMBOD's dastardly plans to keep me occupied and out of trouble.
But she can't be here all the time.
😏

And to following on, a Munich Kellerbier.
BBE 11.03.2022
Much more malty than the Black Sheep lager, unsurprisingly.
I've had a few beers (😁) from Beer52 that described themselves as typical Munich Bierfest examples.
All I can say is, I'm glad I haven't made the effort to attend.
Are other (different) styles readily available?
Those I have had, have all been a little bit sweet and 'brownish tasting', if that's a thing. My daughter's phrase would be, "Meh".

I’m planning a few more trips over the coming weeks and it occurs to me that we really ought to have a thread on the site concerning places you might want to visit if you find yourself in a particular county, in this case Kent.

I’m sure it would be useful, I’d use it anyway when visiting or on holiday.
