Can anyone help? I took my tap off the cornie keg to stop it getting banged. A couple of hours later I returned to the kitchen to find my keg was frothing ale from the out, and at least a gallon was on the floor! Aaaaaaaah!! Yep such a waste I know. Anyway I released the pressure valve and it still kept coming out but only slow. I then gave the centre pin in the out, a poke and it then stopped. O the joy!! Phew!! So the question is what or if anything can I do. I don’t want this to happen when I`m not in. Thanks in advance.

make sure the post is screwed on flush, if its screwed on at an angle the poppet wont sit right. i took my tap off my keg and the beer came flying out all over me, the post is a bit scuffed on the inside where it screws on the keg and the post now sits at quite an angle so ive just left the tap connected so it doesnt leak

Cheers for that. I`m gonna have to sup it first I guess? O the pain!! I`ll give it a good looking at as soon as the things drained. Cheers again. :thumb:
