Two year old malt,
Battery failed on the scales. Pinched 'er in doors old fashioned scales. ( i got away with it )
Missed mash temp by 2.5 degrees. ( could have been worse i spose )
Forgot to pre-heat sparge liquor. ( so mashed for nearly 2 hours )
User error on timer for boil. ( who knows how long i boiled for? )

The thing is, the wort was lovely and sweet and i hit 1042 which is what i wanted. Also, if this produces a nice pint, i will never be able to reproduce it. How annoying is that?

Forgot to mention, i had to rush out to Homebase for some 15mm copper tube to make a new hop filter.

:D

You had to make a new hop filter mid brew? Ouch!

At least it all wound up in a fermenter, rather than all over your floor. That's a win right there!

One day you will look back on that day and laugh.........

Ha ha.Ha haa.ha ha hahaaaaa !

:D
