Thought I would start a request list for members who wanted a Commemorative Glass but could not get to the Spring Thing 2013, hopefully the Forum may extend the offer to those members.

One of the reasons we didn't order excess glasses for distant purchasing this year was the change in Royal Mails pricing meaning it would cost nearly Â£9 to post a glass and a minimum order number.
If folk are prepared to pay this postage let us know, and if we have enough numbers we could consider a re-order :hmm:

Well I for one am definately up for one as its the only way I can get it as not being able to attend any Venues and by owning one at least I can feel as though I have. All the best Buster and many thanks for at least considering to re=order. :thumb:

Ok, I've been looking into alternative to the Royal Mail who seem to be shooting themselves in the foot now...

Hermes will deliver a glass (weighs 1.3kg) for Â£4.20 (without signature) or Â£5.22 (with signature). Unless people were prepared to accept and chase the loss if the glass never arrived, we'd send them with signature.

After including the cost of packaging to send them in, we're looking at Â£6.00 postage.

If you still want one at Â£8.40 per glass + Â£6.00 postage, please indicate below and if we get enough (24 required for that price) we will run some more off.

If we get less than 24 orders then it would not be feasible as the price rockets to Â£20 per glass

As an alternative, we could consider a lighter glass to bring the postage costs down - e,g, a Tulip glass with the same design would be Â£1.00 cheaper to post. The glass itself would also be cheaper - more like Â£5.00 each if we got 24 orders.

Wouldit be possible for an Admin or Moderater to post a picture of the Tankard as a few members dont know what they look like and I think if they did they would buy one
