It certainly is a very impressive shed :thumb:
also sorting out for upgrading the power supply so I can run 2 elements in the hlt and 2 in the boiler instead of one and will probably end up making a control box up with a pid for hlt control and temp measuring for the mash tun and switches for the boiler.
and also very happy to have just put my first proper ingredients order in coming to a total of £70 and weighing 36kg :thumb:

open question on the step ladder approach vs getting pumps and having all the pots at same level... What are peoples thoughts on the pro's and con's of each style?
I'm about to build something in my garage and not sure which route to take....

If I were in your shoes my thoughts would be space available and cost. I've also seen other designs where the pots are directly above each other vertically, great for space saving. It's personal choice really especially if cost isn't a factor.

I have my 3 pot setup in a tiered gravity step arrangement. It's easy to use and the only pain is refilling the HLT with a bucket (need to buy a new hose!) prior to each Brew Session. It's a pretty minor pain though to be honest.
I am planning an upgrade to a HERMS setup which will involve at least one pump, but at the moment i'm wondering whether to keep the HLT gravity fed or not!

filling the hlt with a gravity system would be a ball ache filling with a bucket. but I have the water feed next to hlt so can fill with no bother.
got the stc through the post this morning so got the 2nd fridge wired in.

Well you have made good use of the space, I'm considering building a brew shed at the side of my house so this makes interesting reading, keep up the good work! :hat:
I have had to be careful how things are put for the room available, if your building your own or don't have a shed yet id go bigger if you can. its tight now with the big apple press in there aswell but when all the apples are done ill be storing that at my grandads garage
