so on sunday I will be brewing an as of yet unnamed brew.
it will consist of

4kg MO
200g dingehams special B
200g amber malt
200 crystal
100 terrified wheat

35g fuggles 6.4aa 90 mins
15g EKG 15 mins
15g styrian bobek 0 mins
15g galaxy 0 mins

should be intresting.

Almost done, just running it off into my FV.
Smells bloody lovely.

I don't mean to sound daft but what does adding hops at 0 mins actually mean? Anyone?

Hope it went well for you, mate! Now comes the hard part... waiting. :thumb:

It means that Sam has had a 90 minute boil and at the end of 90 minutes (i.e. 0 mins remaining) the hops go in, commonly known as "flame out" hops.

Cheers chaps. So when do you remove these 0 minute hops? I'm doing BIAB (boiling my hops in a "sock").

Leave them in to steep as you are cooling your wort,, they stay in until you drain your boiler.

I've not used it before but I'm looking forward to seeing how it impacts the flavor of the brew.
I've been making a lot of very hoppy brews recently so it's going to be nice to have something that's a bit different.

well I just vented a minikeg and poured myself a pint.

its fecking amazing, there is a faint fruity scent, taste is bitter sweet fading to dry on the tongue.

so tasty I am sure the keg will be lucky to last the weekend.
