what was your SG/OG?

brewR tells me that i should be looking for a FG of 1.012 if i get close i will bottle

i didnt need to cool my wort as 15L of cold water did the job

SG was 1045 and FG as of 5 mins ago 1010. Relaying a floor at moment otherwise I would be bottling now. I bought a big pan so could boil the full 19L then took about 3 hours to cool down sat in bath of cold water. Wort chiller high on my desirable list.

i went for a 5L boil as i didnt have a big enough pot. but i had to use a 100G of hops to get the bui right. my sg was 1.048 but i now know my hydro is fecked so im not sure it could be 4-6 points out

so this hhas been on since the 6th . reading on the 10th was 1.022ish , 12th was 1.020 . and its not the moved since i have tested it with 2 different hydro's iv given it a stir, added yeast and wrapped it in a blanket holding 21.1c

is there anymore i can do ?

yes but at this rate my weeks not going to well so i might have wait until next week.

2 poorly kids and im meant to start work this week

I got 34 x 500ml bottles so a very similar amount. There was a lot of sediment so I lost about 2-3 litres but I guess its quality not quantity.

I had taken a fair few samples so I lost a bit and as I'm using pressure barrels as fv and for bottling you lose a bit there . I have got a litre of turb that's in the fridge so I can harvest the yeast

The ext has been in the bottle a week so iv started to sample . Its nice but little/no head, fruity but almost a green apple flavour , a little sharp, finishes sort of dry.

so with info from pittsy going to leave for another week before trying again
