Not a complex review, but DAMN! This beer is INCREDIBLE! If nothing else over Christmas, get yourself a bottle of this and enjoy what a real ale is!

Ok, I will try and describe it. Smooth, very smooth. Rich, sweat toffee flavour but with the bitter edge. A tinge of whiskey like fire in the after-taste, but only the faintest hint.

You might not want to drink many in a row, but one with a mince pie goes down unbelievably well!

My wife bought me a bottle last night with three other Christmas beers (all 3-4% :wha: ) from Tesco. And I drank this one first.

It was very nice indeed, I've a bit of a cold and a poor palate but it wasn't disimilar to Robinsons old Tom for me and something I would be very happy to drink plenty of. And at 4 for £6, I assume seeing as I got four, I'll be having at least 8 more.

I think those bottles would fit nicely in my brewing cupboard and fridge also
