ok so anotner of my crazy ideas (i jave lots of ideas, sometimes i find ome tne has commefcial valu. To get tne good ideas rou have ro have many ieeas). So i am keen to have a nice clear brew, be it wine, beer or cider. I have a spare fish tank filter, the thpe tnat goes in the tank, could this be used almost like a powered syphon to mechanically push the brew through the filter and into a second barrel, i would use a silicone tube on the outlet and into the second barrel to stop the brew splashing and oxidising. I would just need to find a filter medium suitable to remove a suitable amount (but leave enough for carbonatimg).
What do you guys think ??? It would only take a matter of minutes too.

Using a secondary FV for 4/5 days in a cooler place works for me. But with beer once bottled leave in warm place for 3 weeks to carbonate, not yet done a cider.

Did once try a small in-line fuel filter that I use for my boys karting did the job well, but ended up with flat beer. You can over filter as I've found out.

I told you, I have to have a few naff ideas to get a good one. So this was a naff one, although it did remove a small amount of particles....

I doubt the makers of finings have all rolled over and died following this innovative breakthrough
