I'm itching to get a brew on - I've got a list as long as my wotsit - but first I've got a room to finish refurbing and a mountain of other stuff to catch up on... :(

69 litres of beer (three kit brews) kegged last night in less time than it would have taken to bottle one of them!

This makes me happy!

Now conditioning while I get organised to build a dispensary... :thumb:

What do the rest of you keggeratti use for gas stop valves between reg and coupler?

I got mine from Candirect.de, but hop and grape sell them here. Although technically speaking they are beer stop valves :D . . . My Secondary Regs are equipped with taps so I turn the gas off at the reg

Did they come equipped? All I've found so far are the John Guest PI series ones...

...these little gizmos then - to prevent beer backing up through the gas lines?

In all my years of kegging I've NEVER had beer go through the gas lines. I think it can happen (obviously!) but from my experience it's never happened.

As far as gas lines go I have wee mini ball valves that go onto the J/Guest fittings. Work a treat.

Can't remember. Will have a look through my email. I suspect eBay. Will find a link for you.

They work perfectly. Really neat solution.

I always thought I;d never have beer backing up into gas lines until recently. I;ve got 2 kegs at different pressure on secondary regs. The keg (corny) was full and the the gas dip tube was sitting in the beer. I'd force carbed it and had to disconnect the disconnect on the corny. When I put it back on (now with a lower pressure in the gas line) the beer shot back - luckily it didnt get as far as the the reg on the CO2 bottle. Needless to say - I did this about 3 times in quick succession - I now need to get a stop valve.

I have 2 like aleman but they only go direct on the corny and my freezer lid wont close with the stop valve on top... Any ideas of how to link the QD to the stop valve and then some 3/8 tubing?

I've got 3 regs with push fit from ebay then got dials from flowfit - they do all sorts of ranges for about

Hey jonny, I know nothing about cornies I'm afraid - I've gone for polykegs with sankey connectors.

Those gauges though look decent value - I think I'm going to just get one to tune the regs for now and maybe replace them all further down the line.
