Hmm pnpBB

What the F happened to the layout?
What is all this?
I assume it should be a " mark?

phpBB and vBulletin handle text differently, which is why we've had problems with things like pound signs, accents and degree symbols, with threads ending abruptly.

That's why my WOW guide got corrupted and has now been deleted.

Just to expand and explain a bit more on this (WHICH IS WHAT AUSTIN AND GROUPBUILDER SHOULD HAVE DONE!!!). the bulletin boards handle text in the same way . . . unfortunately phpBB handles it in an international way using UTF-8 character set, vBulletin on the other hand uses a different character set ISO88something-or-orther-I-couldnt-care-less . . . Unfortunately characters in one set do not translate to the other set, which breaks the board.

ANYONE THAT HAD DONE A FORUM MIGRATION IN THE PAST IS WELL AWARE OF THESE ISSUES AND WOULD HAVE SET THE DEFAULT CHARACTER SET TO BE THE CORRECT ONE, TO AVOID THIS SIMPLE GOTCHA!
