My wherry was transferred to the pressure barrel yesterday, and I've just been and bought these two items...

When I screw it down the bulb doesn't pierce. Is this right? I've noticed the valve inside moves up and down. Can anyone advise please :)
Adam.

I had the some problem with mine! I put a 5p between the injector and the cartridge in the gap to make it work!

Brilliant thank you. So let's say I cut the 3mm off the bottom and then screw it down, will it constantly apply the co2 or will the entire bulb go in? And how much will I need to use and how often?! Sorry to ask so many questions, I'm just not too sure about the whole co2 thing!

The cartridge will fully empty once pierced, you cannot add it a bit at a time. The holders with the plastic thread are ****e, I had the same problem with mine. Invest in one with a steel thread (Ballihoo sell them) and you'll have much less bother. You only need to inject Co2 when the pressure decreases and beer stops coming out of the tap. It's usually not until about two thirds if the way down.
