I've had a brew on the go for just under 3 weeks. 1.5 kilos of blackberries and elderberries from my garden plus 2 litres of Lidl's cranberry and raspberry juice and 1kg of granulated sugar. No activity in the airlock for a couple of days so I figured I'd take a hydrometer reading. The bulb is barely off the base of the trial jar so I can only estimate the sg at about 985 from an og of 1100 which I believe equates to 15.5% ABV. Using Youngs super wine yeast compound that went out of date some time last year. Took a sneaky sip for quality control purposes and I can tell that this is going to be a very interesting drink by Christmas.

I've just done a blackberry wine with similar results, I used 1kg of sugar and 3 lb of blackberry s which fermented down to 992 the in 8 days I thought it had stalled at first till I took a gravity reading
