Hello

Noobie here,

I got a Woodfordes kit for my birthday and am getting ready to bottle it tomorrow. Very excited about brewing my own beer.

Might try cider and wine as well soon.

Hi essex brew

I had one of those great beer. dead easy to do. You can also pimp it up a little by adding some extra sugar to it make it nice and strong thats what I did. I think you can add some extra hops as well to give it more flavour or add some treacle as well, so I believe.

welcome, I hope the beer turns out well. If not, try again! And ask for help. You can make fantastic beer at home.

Hi Essex, I'm from Ally Pally in Wood Green but I work in Brentwood, what Woodfordes have you got? I'm planning a Wherry for my next brew.

Hi Essex
Wherry is a great kit and appreciates dry hopping with East Kent gold if your feeling adventurous. Coopers is a classis too and very quick to ferment.
Rob.

Essex, keep an eye on the Coopers Stout, it goes off like a rocket in the FV for the first few days, check the threads about a blow off tube.

Been reading up on brewing with grains and hops, looks like loads of fun, I can see this becoming an expensive hobby, already looking at shiny pots on the malt miller site.
