Hello all,
The 3 big apple trees have to come down, one is causing conflict between the the neighbour and the house itself! The other two are slowly dieing...
The **** thing is, the neighbour didn't mind getting as much apples as they can for the freezer.
There's a sweet and sour apples from two different kinds, I thought this year I'm going to make cider!! Not to be..
The landlord has got tree people and there's about 4 other non apple trees to come around the so at least I don't have to pay for it as it was early expected £600+
No chance of getting them to fells the trees after the fall 😁
Happy Easter all

Hi Brian, I know it will not help your situation but please advertise the wood (free on gumtree) for either turners or people who have wood burners, I really hate the sound of wood chippers, I notice you are not that far from me but I must have about 2 3 years of stored wood as is, cheers Dave

Shame, I bet a cider made from a combination of the apples would have been nice.

Bad timing in the circumstances but if you fancy doing a cider, tesco are doing two litres of apple juice for £1.50 at the moment. I've got a couple of DJs on the go, airlocks still blipping away after 6 days and the spare room has taken on a definite cider aroma.

And Happy Easter to you too :-)
