Hi all,

I'm currently in the process of upgrading my kit to be able to handle 2-3 batch lengths. I've got an 80l thermopot on order from brewbuilder for an MT and the next piece will be a 100l stockpot (are the Powell ones any good as for complete kit they seem to be the cheapest?) as a boiler.

Anyway after using electric in my 30l cygnet the increase in size is looking like it's going to mean a move to gas for the boiler. I am thinking about something like this:

The one thing that worries me is that the little legs almost certainly won't support a full pot of this size. Is there anything out there that can be used as a stand to house this type of burner or am I pretty much stuck with bricks?

It'd be nice if there was something that is built more like the burners from malt Miller etc with this sort of power :(

Powell pots are great, Ian is a brilliant guy, very helpful and keen. Give him a call or email he may have already faced this issue and have a solution.

I have a paella burner like the one used in the first link I've only used it for paella so far but it could be used straight on the floor without attaching the supplied legs.
However using calor gas the heat isn't that great from it I'm not sure you'd get a good boil in the sort of quantities your talking about. Maybe other gas types burn hotter?
