Treacle stout (again!) At 6.8ish% and wheat vanilla beer at 4.8% sampled. Stout is 2 weeks in the bottle and the wheat will be 2 weeks this Wednesday. Well impressed, wheat beer very banana-ery (but hardly any vanilla). 2 coopers kits next, and when they're done I'll be heading towards 200 bottles stored.

Hello Scousebrew, I take it by the name we live fairly close. Was just wondering where you get your supplies from? Cheers

Hello Pazza, I go to Love brewing in Tuebrook, some of the Coopers kits are cheaper than Wilkos and there's always a good selection of yeasts/hops/malt extracts etc, well worth a look

Cheers mate will pay it a visit, planning a Russian Imperial Stout next to be ready for my 40th (April) if all goes well with these. Will definitely be doing more in-between but the thought of a 10% ABV stout has got me slobbering

Saving it till April..that's some willpower! Kit or AG?

Just the 3 tin recipe from the Coopers site, all-grain kit might be what I upgrade to by the time the RIS is ready!
