I had the M&S Sorachi Saison last night. Can't compare to the style as I'm a noob to Saison, but it was bloody good. Complex and balanced. Brewed by Adnams which made me think it might not be great, but, I asked myself would I be happy if I had brewed this? Hell yes

It's alright but not really a good representation of a typical saison. You're only likely to get americanised versions over here unfortunately.

Dupont is what you really want to try if you can get it. There aren't actually all that many Belgian ones but they're very nice.

I really didn't enjoy this NEIPA, bad excuse for one. Had it in Brewdog York at weekend, bad mouthfeel and crazy throat hop burn.

Better options are Northern Monk/ Verdant collab called Hazemaker.
Beavertown Humuloid also very nice.
As was said, anything Cloudwater is pumping out too.

If you know any American friends get them to send you a Treehouse Julius over or anything by Alchemist.

Magic Rock in the UK also pumping out some Neipa.
Also heard on the grapevine that northern monk have sold out a little and will be stocking in M & S.

Oh also a local brewery near me (Rivington Brewery)has made. good NEIPA called never known fog like it. Great lads too and given me much advice for my NEIPA

Just ordered a box of various beers from Hippo Beers. Included are

Stewart Brewery's Blood Orange Saison
Orval (I ordered this thinking it was also a Saison, but now I'm not so sure)
Magic Rock Half Cut DIPA (description was fairly close to a NEIPA)
Out of Town's North East Coast IPA

Orval is more of an Abbey Ale/Trappist. Still great though

I had Half Cut at the weekend and it was something else! Immense!

It got recommended on this thread (I think)!
