Local has this........wow! Just wow! Anyone who likes the American IPA vibe will love this.
Anyone got the recipe ?

Absolute cracker of a beer. Maybe worth emailing Tiny Rebel for a recipe? I'd be interested in seeing it!

E mailed Tiny Rebel and fair play they e mailed back in a few hours. Basically they say they ain’t disclosing any recipes at all to anyone .....can’t say I blame them. They do say it’s a good seller though and they’re planning to have it available for a long time.

Booooooo. Plenty of other breweries do it. They could've at least given you a hint.

I really like TR, this beer included. I emailed them a year or so ago asking what their recipe for Fugg life is. They were nice but said they didn't give out recipes.

It's always slightly suspicious when breweries do that...

I don' understand that. any good professional brewer will be able to pick the ingredients out. ok timings and amounts maybe more difficult but I don't see breweries doing a direct copy of it

Surely their ingredients are water, malt, hops, yeast and perhaps some adjuncts where necessary. If they gave away their specific recipes they don't have too much to lose. Any other microbrewery/craft brewery might be interested but would be more preoccupied making their own recipes, can't imagine most brewers would want to rip off another brew like that. Home brewers would make something similar but not the same, and I would imagine those who homebrew probably buy more beer than those who don't (including in pubs).

Unless TR are hiding something in their ingredients, I really don't see why they wouldn't give it away. It's not like a patent for a jet engine...

rant over.

I heard they weren't allowed to call their beer `real ale'. Maybe there's a good reason.

Mind you everything of theirs I've tried has been very nice.

Would this be because real ale is defined as fermented in the cask, and TR keg, can and bottle most their beers?
