I just wondered, do these boilers have water level indicator markings inside them?
Also I am thinking about buying one as a sparge water heater, should I go for the 20l or 30l?
Can you replace the tap for a ball valve, do you need to open up the hole a bit?
Thanks

No indicators on the cygnet so had to make a measuring stick. I filled then empty to the dead space. Then added water using a measuring jug and marked on the stick at incrementsstarting at about 18litres as would be any less than that.

I had to buy a silicone washer with inside diameter 20mm outside 35mm to cover the bigger hole the burco tap leaves. No issues so far, touch wood. Just search bespoke silicone washers on eBay, 5quid for 5.

The tap on my 30L Cygnet leaves a fair amount of dead space, would I be better of fitting a completely new one, perhaps with a bazooka filter, lower down? Whats the thoughts of people with these?
A bit I guess but the amount of **** left at the bottom doesn’t warrant me changing it,I just tip it up a bit.
