My plans got cancelled today so obviously I'm gonna put a brew on. As I've not cultured any yeast up and have no packets in the fridge, that leaves me with the yeast cakes in my two fermenting beers: Saflager S-23 and MJ West Coast.

I really want a brown ale though, so I'm gonna make a brown ale with S-23 using up some ingredients I've had lying around. Here's what I have planned:

Name: Group Think
FV size: 25L
Efficiency: 80%

Gonna get started!

I remembered I have a Belgian style tripel sitting in secondary with MJ M31 Belgian Tripel. I think this woud go nicely in this beer.

I'm sure a lot of the forumites have been awake at night wondering whatever happened to this brew. I bottled it last week and from the FV it tasted great. First a banana and fruity flavour from the yeast, followed by a slight nuttiness and then a roastiness from the malt. I'm looking forward to cracking one of these open soon.
